Design tools got easy. Anyone can ship a flow now. What still separates good product design from the rest is knowing which problem is actually worth solving, and being willing to build three wrong versions before the right one shows up. That takes curiosity and a lot of testing, and it is what I have gotten good at.
Most of my work sits in dashboards, booking platforms, and internal tools, across B2C and B2B. Products people use every day, not once. That kind of work is won in the small places. The error states. The empty screen on day one. The flow nobody demos.
I work close to engineers and inside existing design systems, so what I design is what actually gets shipped.

How I work
Understand, Then design
Before I open Figma I want to know who is stuck and why. That means watching how people actually use the product. If I cannot explain the problem in one sentence, it is not ready to design.
Be wrong early
A rough version someone can click teaches me more than a polished one they can only look at. I test early, while it is still cheap to change. Being wrong early is the fastest way to get it right.
The last ten percent
Design is not finished when the file is finished. I stay with the engineers and check the built version against the design. The last ten percent is where a product either feels good or feels close enough.
